Bread clips! After you finish your loaf, what do you do with them? Anything? Do you just trash them? Wait! Don’t do that! I am here to tell you that you can use them for something. A few months ago, I saw someone use bread clips for sorting the cables in their home. What a great idea! Loved it! So, I thought, What else can I use bread clips for?
Repurposing Bread Clips to make your technology more organized
A little while back, I wrote a post about turning my decorate box into a charging station. If you missed it, here’s the link. Change a Box into Charging Station
Since I wrote the blog post, I noticed that there was an issue. The cables for the cellphones and iPod inside the box would get tangled, way tangled. Then, to untangle them, our family members, who shall be nameless, would pull the cable all the way out of the box and lay the phone on the table with the cord hanging out of the box. That wasn’t the purpose for the box, I dare say.
So, I decided to use my bread clips for each cable. I used the back of the bread clip and wrote with a red marker to make sure everyone sees the tags.
I moved the bread clips to the front of the charging station as shown below so we wouldn’t accidently pull the cables out of their respective openings.
Now, the box can close when visitors are over, and no one needs to see the charging station box inside. Hooray! What have you used bread clips for? Love to hear from you. Please post a comment.
