Description

Ingredients
- Bacon 3 pieces
- 1 lb kielbasa
- 1/2 onion
- Cabbage green shredded
- Four carrots shredded
- 2 tbsp of Dijon
- 1/2 - 3/4 c water
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Shred the cabbage and carrots and set them aside. Cut up the bacon into small 1/2 inch slices. Then, in a hot skillet, add the cut-up bacon for 3 minutes on medium heat.
- Chop up the onions and add them to the skillet till it is translucent. It will take about three minutes.
- Add shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet. Cook to reduce for about 5 minutes.
- Add about 1 tbsp of water to the skillet, so it doesn't burn. Cut up the kielbasa into 1 inch wide pieces, then add them to the skillet.
- To make the Dijon sauce, Mix Dijon with equal parts of water to loosen. Add more if you want more.
- Cook for 5 minutes until the cabbage and carrot are reduced. Add Dijon and water mix. Stir well. Cover with the lid and cook for a few more minutes. Transfer to a plate and enjoy.
