Description

Yummy and easy-to-make cherry hand pie recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 10 Tbsp of Cherry pie filling
  • 4 TBSP white sugar crystals
  • 3 TBSP red sugar crystals
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk 2%

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Roll out the pie crust.
  3. Use a 5 to 6-inch circle cutter and make 4 circles. Remove the access and roll out again and make one more. One pie crust makes a total of 5 hand pies.
  4. Add two tablespoons on one side in each circle.
  5. Fold in half and then seal with a little water and press a fork down to create a firm top and bottom edge. Poke the top of the pies with the fork a few times.
  6. Mix 1 egg with 2 Tbsp milk.
  7. With a brush, coat the top of each pie and add white and red sugar crystals as much as you want.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is baked.
  9. Remove and let cool for at least 25 minutes then serve.
