Description
Pull out the veggies if the sausage and back are taking longer than expected then continue cooking the sausage and bacon.
Ingredients
- 1 lb of pork Italian sausage
- 1 lb of bacon sliced
- 1 lb of mushroom sliced
- 2 red pepper sliced
- 2 tbsp Avocado oil
- 1 tbsp dried thyme (Affiliate Link)
- Salt / Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Cut the sausage into 2-3 inch links. Add to a bowl.
- Open the bacon packet and wrap each piece of sausage with one bacon strip. Set on a Cookie sheet (Affiliate Link).
- Add the mushroom slices, red pepper slices, dried thyme (Affiliate Link), and add the avocado oil and salt and pepper in a bowl. Add the coated veggies to the cookie sheet (Affiliate Link).
- Roast in the oven for 15-25 minutes until the bacon is cooked. If the roasted peppers and the mushrooms look like they cook too quickly, feel free to remove them and place them in a bowl. Then place the cookie sheets (Affiliate Link) back into the oven and continue roasting.
- Pull out and serve and enjoy.
