Description
Lace cookies are very buttery and can be used with gluten-free flour substitution if you want.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked oatmeal
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar (Affiliate Link)
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup butter melted
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Mix oatmeal, sugar, flour and salt in a bowl.
- Stir in butter; add egg and vanilla and combine well.
- Arrange batter by half-teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart on lined parchment paper (Affiliate Link) cookie sheet (Affiliate Link).
- Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned around the edges. About 5 minutes.
- Let get firm (5 minutes at least) away from the oven then removing cookies from parchment paper (Affiliate Link) by bending the parchment paper (Affiliate Link) back away from the cookie.
