Easy and delicious Spinach Balls Recipe that you can enjoy at a party or as a snack or light dinner.
Ingredients
- 1.5 sticks butter (softened)
- 20 oz. chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup onion (diced)
- 3 eggs
- 2 egg whites
- 2 cup herbed seasoned stuffing
- 1 cup romano cheese
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic (granulated)
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
Instructions
- Cook spinach according to package. Drain well. Squeeze dry.
- In a bowl, add butter, spinach, onion, eggs, egg white, herbed seasoned stuffing, romano cheese, salt, garlic, cayenne. Mix well.
- Form into 1/2 - 1 inch balls. Add to wax paper on a cookie sheet (Affiliate Link).
- Refrigerate while preheating the oven at 350 degrees.
- Make ahead, freeze for 1/2 hour then place in a baggie to freeze for later.
- When ready to bake, place on parchment paper (Affiliate Link) on a cookie sheet (Affiliate Link) for 30 minutes. Turning after 15 minutes.
- Let sit for a few minutes. Serve with honey mustard dip.
