Ingredients

  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 5 cups Cabbage thinly sliced
  • 1 can of Black beans
  • 2 cans of diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup carrots or baby carrots chopped
  • 1 med onion chopped
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (Affiliate Link)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Optional cooked Gluten Free cooked meatballs or other cooked meat

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the cabbage and set it aside. Peel and cut the carrots into slices. Add both to the slow cooker (Affiliate Link).
  2. Add the rinsed black beans can. Make sure to rinse the beans before adding.
  3. Add the diced canned tomatoes next.
  4. Then, add the rest of the ingredients - vegetable broth, chopped onion, tomato paste, garlic powder, basil, oregano, marjoram, sage, thyme, and pepper, and stir in the slow cooker (Affiliate Link).
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
