Description
Great and easy stovetop cooking dish. It is finished in less than an hour.
Ingredients
- 1 LB ground Turkey
- 1 cups onion chopped
- 1/2 cup chili peppers canned
- 1 - 14.5 oz can of Cannelloni beans
- 4 cups chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 pieces of minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil (Affiliate Link)
- 2 Tbsp flour for thickening (gluten-free or all-purpose)
- 2 zucchini chopped into cubes
Instructions
- Add garlic to olive oil (Affiliate Link) heat for a minute to a dutch oven (Affiliate Link) or deep large saucepan. Be sure the temperature is lower before adding the green chili. It will make a mess.
- Then, add the can of green chili slowly to the saucepan for a few minutes or until heated through.
- Now, it's time for the other ingredients. add ground turkey, onions, and garlic and brown. Break up the meat and stir.
- Add the rest of the ingredients (cannelloni beans, chicken broth, cumin, salt, pepper(if you want) to the saucepan and stir. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Then, add the zucchini and stir in for another 10 minutes.
- Add the flour and stir into the chili and cook for 5 minutes or until the broth is thicker.
- Remove from heat and serve with Tortilla chips, salsa, and shredded cheese.
