Many people have asked me for this service, so here it is! I am so happy to offer Virtual Organizing Consultations (AKA Virtual Organizing).

Do you encounter projects when organizing independently and don't know where to start? Do you feel overwhelmed and lost on how to break up the tasks to finish the goal quickly and easily? Do you need accountability to complete a project in your home or office? This service is for you!

Note: This service's clients must be somewhat tech savvy and know how to use iOS FaceTime or Zoom.

How can virtual organizing help me achieve my goal?

There are several vital takeaways when doing virtual organizing consultations. Below are the essential ones.

• Accountability is one of the main reasons to do virtual organizing. A Professional Organizer(PO) will help you stay focused and not be overwhelmed.
• You can pick the PO that works best for you. Virtual organizing consultations allow you to choose someone who works better with your organizing style since they do not need to live near you.
• Having two people looking at a goal will give you more task options to observe which step will work best for your situation.
• Streamlining steps in priority order will give you direction when doing the task, resulting in a faster completion time.
• You feel more in control of what tasks you need to complete because I will streamline steps to make them understandable and doable.
• You save money on travel costs. If you do not live close to POs, you may have to pay a travel fee to have them work with you.

What are virtual organizing consults?

It is a nonjudgemental accountability session to help you stay focused and on target with your home, life, and work organizing goals. With me, you will set goals and create strategies and steps to achieve them. Every week, you will communicate with me to help you know what this week's tasks are and discuss any obstacles you may have.

What do Sabrina’s Organizing virtual organizing services offer?

I offer three options for virtual organizing services. The first one is One(1) Room Virtual Organizing Service. The second virtual organizing service is for all the other more specific Micro Goals you may have. The third one is accountability service.

One(1) Room Virtual Organizing Service

The Virtual One(1) Room Virtual Organizing Service will help you organize one space in one month. You can read more about this at the bottom of this page.

Micro-Goals Virtual Organizing Service

The Micro Goals Virtual Organizing Service will allow you to get deep into the details of projects needing more time and focus. These goals are ones you can't do in a 4-hour session. You would complete them over time so as not to overwhelm yourself through the process. Read more about how a typical session works at the bottom of this page.

First, Create a Task List and Deadlines: On our first call, we will create a step-by-step process to achieve the goal. Each goal will vary depending on the steps needed to complete it.

Some life-changing examples where you may want help with these micro goals consultations are:

• Losing a loved one (while they are in hospice or just after they pass)

Virtual Organizing sessions are great for busy DIYers who need direction but can do it themselves or have help from family or friends to finish an organizing goal.

Depending on your goals, this on-the-phone, iOS Facetime, or Zoom call is for anyone who needs inspiration and direction while decluttering their life. I recommend that you have an updated phone, be committed to the time allotted, and stay focused on the goal between the weeks while the virtual organizing sessions occur.

How does a Virtual One(1) Room Organizing work?

Are you ready to clear out that room that is bothering you? This service is specifically designed to organize one(1) room from decluttering to organizing in just 1 month. It includes four ½ hour sessions. This includes:

• A 30-minute session of goal-setting to determine the strategy
• a one-page "Solutions" report
• Three 30-minute phone sessions during the decluttering process to set small goals for the next week and discuss how it is going

But first, we must ensure this service will work for you.

After you complete the form, I will send you a list of questions to make sure this service will work for you. Please answer them as soon as possible and send them to me. These questions are specifically designed to determine if your room goal is realistic for a month of organizing work. I want you to succeed at your goal, so this step is critical to the success of this service.

BEFORE the first scheduled session

Before the first session, I would need at least four(4) photos, one of each wall in the room you are organizing, emailed to me so I can see the space we will be working on before the session.

At our first virtual meeting

For our first meeting, we will discuss your roadblocks, goals for the room, and needs for the place. After the initial goal-setting discussion, I will furnish you with a short Solutions Report that pinpoints the tasks and what needs to be done to meet your goal.

The rest of the sessions

In the coming weeks, we will set up three(3) half-hour sessions with tasks and discussions to complete the decluttering room goal.

How does the Micro-Goals and Accountability session work?

Micro-Goals and Accountability sessions offer specific goal completion steps that will assist you in getting your detailed goals finished fast and efficiently. While Micro-Goals sessions are bundle packages for particular goals, Accountability sessions are continuing sessions to keep you focused on various tasks for the long term.

Each Micro-Goals and Accountability session has an initial ½ hour call to discuss your goals.

Then, we would set up recurring meetings weekly for ½ hour or 1 hour, depending on your needs. The number of recurring meetings will depend on the type of project.

Note: If you do not have the right product for the goals, supplies may need to be purchased. On our calls, I will give you a list of products and where to purchase them.

We then talk, and you will start getting the tasks done. At each call, I will assign you a small task—nothing too large unless you want it to be. Each week, we will discuss how the organizing went for you, if there were any obstacles, how you felt about the task, and the next steps.

That's it. It's pretty easy. Rest assured, I will be there to support you with no judgment.

How much are these virtual organizing sessions?

The cost ranges depending on your goals and how long it takes to finish them. I divided this pricing session down per package.

Virtual One(1) Room Organizing Price

The package price for this service depends on the number of things you have, the size of the room, and the goals you have for it. Depending on how long the decluttering and reorganization take, more than the allotted meetings may be needed. If so, we can determine that then.

Micro-Goals Price

Micro-Goals sessions are priced as packages to help you complete a specific goal. These sessions can take anywhere from 1 month, meeting once a week, to several months. The price is determined by the type of particular goal you have and how complicated it is to achieve the goal.

Accountability Tasks Price

Accountability Sessions are ongoing sessions to keep you moving forward in decluttering and organizing your life and home. It may take several months to up to a year to get your life organized and serene again. This service is billed monthly for once-a-week sessions.

Prepayment is required for all virtual organizing services. However, for larger ongoing projects, the payment can be made monthly. By prepaying the sessions, you will be more accountable for completing the job.

I accept checks mailed to my office or PayPal.

Note: if you postpone or stop in the middle of the goal's scheduled sessions and there are at least 3 attempts by me (via email) to reschedule with no response, there will not be a refund.

Hands-on organizing versus virtual organizing

While hands-on organizing and virtual organizing are similar, there are some distinct differences you need to be aware of.

A hands-on organizing session will give you extra hands to do different tasks to get the job done. Using a hands-on Professional Organizer(PO) may make more sense if your goals are decluttering large spaces, moving furniture (Affiliate Link) around, or assembling things.

While a virtual organizing session may work better for people with specific micro goals that need detailed attention, these goals could be more time-consuming. However, a virtual organizing session will save you money because you will be doing the work instead of having a body double there doing it with you.
