As summer approaches, you are planning to go on family vacations and day trips among other activities like work. It can be relaxing but also a stressful time if you are not organized. So, it is important to make your on-the-go supplies organized while traveling. Here are my favorite on-the-go supplies.
Travel Jewelry Organizer: Travelon Jewelry Roll, Black, One Size
Pocketbook Organizer: HDE Expandable Handbag Insert Purse Organizer with Handles (Black)
Traveling Bottles: Humangear GoToob Travel Bottle, Clear/Blue/Green, Large (3 Oz), 3 pack
Keyboard for Tablet: ZAGG Slim Book Case Ultrathin Hinged with Detachable Backlit Keyboard for iPad Air 2 - Black (ID6ZF2-BB0)
A great big carry-on bag with lots of pockets:MG Collection Acacia Large Everyday Shopper Shoulder Bag, Grey, One Size
Note: all these items can be purchased from Amazon.com. Full disclosure: If you click-though, I will get a commission from the sale of the item.
Here are some tips to make your summer run more smoothly:
- If you are busy before a trip, pack the Sunday before your trip right after you do laundry.
- Pick a pocketbook that has lots of pockets inside to help you organize the small items.
- A back-lit keyboard for your tablet works great for a meeting with clients and working late at night.
Happy trails to you! What is your favorite on-the-go supply that you can't leave home without? Leave a comment below. I would love to hear from you.

An extra pair of glasses, I can not function without them. You mentioned packing after you do laundry, great tip, another tip is put clean sheets on your bed before you leave for a trip or vacation, that way you have a nice clean bed to fall into when you get home.

Great tip! Thanks for sharing this tip. I like to clean the house before I leave so I don't have to come back to a dusty house.

Timely post with summer vacations just around the corner. Here's another idea.. keep a stash of "travel toiletries" and "second toiletries" aside if you travel a lot so you don't need to keep moving items back and forth between travel and home.
