During the fall, we hear and smell pumpkin pie spice everywhere. This recipe is no different. I love pumpkin pie spice, in particular, the cinnamon. The fact that its aroma is so pronounced and you can still smell it when you cook it, it’s one of my favorite items to add to pancakes and waffles. This Pumpkin Waffles recipe is wonderful for people with food sensitivities. Be sure you can have cinnamon in your diet before trying this recipe. Some meds can be affected by different spices.
I am enjoying using cashew milk for your recipes these days. It’s more mild than almond. And, I feel it has less of an aftertaste than coconut and almond milk. Try it and see. If you want to stick with your brand of milk, feel free. It should work.

What do you think? I added some extra morsels instead of syrup. Yum. No syrup needed. I hope your family enjoys the recipe. My kids loved it but thought they didn’t need the extra morsels or the syrup. Please leave a comment below and let us know what you think.
Note: no need to add syrup. It’s sweet enough without it. If you want you can remove the morsels. Then it won’t be as sweet.
