Background Story
Let me give you some background. I asked my Facebook Decluttering Group what they wanted in this year's yearly challenge. They suggested revisiting areas in the home that will allow you to declutter and reorganize your areas throughout the year.
How will it work?
There are ten(10) rooms to visit and declutter/organize. I broke down the rooms as follows:
January - Kitchen
February - Home Office
March - Entryway
April - Bedroom
May - Garage (Affiliate Link)
June - Basement
July - Living Room/Family Room
August - Bathroom
September - Photos
October - Holiday decor
To help you not feel overwhelmed, I added suggested areas to declutter and reorganize on the theme page. Your reorganizing will depend on your particular situation, so that is why the planning and implementation time you spend will keep you on track and moving forward.
A Planning Phase sheet will help with each of the above rooms. Doing this before the month begins is essential so you have the focus during the month. All you need to do is print out each month's Planning Phase and Implementation Phase sheets for each room.

The Streamline the Home Challenge Guide ebook Specifics
In the ebook, please print and use the Planning and Implement Phase pages for each month's theme above.
How to Use the Planning Phase Sheet
Label (Affiliate Link) the Planning Phase sheet with the month and theme of that month. Then, write each area to declutter on the lines below. Under that, jot down the tasks you want to do for each zone. Be specific. In the zone box, write down things you must remember when decluttering/organizing that area. Then, in the dotted square box, write down the priority order. What zone will you do first, second, third, etc?
How to Use the Implement Phase Sheet
This Implement Phase page is used to help you determine the more specific tasks you will need to do throughout the month. It is divided into weekly tasks. You can add the particular functions and number priority order for each weekly assignment.

As a reference, use the planning sheet. Each week, you should have at least three specific tasks for the area to help you see an improvement in streamlining it. Then, add task deadlines and notes if needed.
What about the November challenge?
Lastly, in November of the Streamline the Home Challenge, you will reassess and refine these rooms to determine what isn't working and what needs redoing or tweaking. Please note not every room will need to be revisited and modified.
To do this, you need to visit each of the rooms. And jot down the room zone(s) that need modifying. These areas are the ones that are not working well for you and your family. They are cluttered areas even after decluttering. Assign a priority order number in the dotted box. Then, assign a deadline for each troubled area to be revisited and modified. I only included one of the two pages for this section.
What else is in this Streamline the Home Challenge ebook?
On the Articles to Visit for Help pages, I included 25 links to specific posts to assist you while you streamline (plan, declutter, and reorganize) the different themes. The links are divided up by the room names.
If you download the ebook and take on the challenge, please connect with me and my outstanding members on our Facebook Group page.
I hope this Streamline the Home Challenge makes you and your home more balanced and tranquil. Please leave any questions.

This is great! I love your planning sheets. They are laid out simply which gives the person using them the opportunity to go about this the way which works for them. I'll be interested to know if you do a wrap up at the end in November and how many people participate each month.

This is the perfect guide for the person who can do the work but needs a framework to make sure it all gets done. You've put so much thought and effort into this, and I know it will help so many readers!
What a robust resource! This is the kind of challenge that will really empower homeowners to gain control. Whoohoo!

What a great option for someone who works independently, but needs a touch of external accountability. I know others who work throughout their home during the year and find this the best approach. You never feel overwhelmed, and by the end of the year, you've touched all of your spaces!
Do your followers share their progress? That would be so fun to hear about!
Sabrina Quairoli says
They do, but in my private Facebook Group. It is really a do it yourself process so not many share. =(

What I love about this ebook is how you address specific rooms each month. Organizing can feel overwhelming when you can't see how to break the whole project into smaller, doable goals or tasks.
Your system helps to make the process more manageable and less stressful, but focusing your energy on small areas at a time. It's great you have a support group, too, so the users can get the extra boost they need.

Thanks for commenting, Linda! I really appreciate your input.

Wow, this sounds like a great way to extend a challenge throughout the year. I will be interested to see how your members end up enjoying this format. Seems like a great way to kick of 2024 with intention and order!
Sabrina Quairoli says
Thanks, Seana! It's a little different then prior years allowing for people to streamline existing areas on their own terms. Happy holidays and thanks for commenting. I really appreciate it.
