What inspired me to do this Toilet Paper Roll Christmas Craft DIY Project?
I purchased new rugs (Affiliate Link) for my kitchen, including these long wooden 5-foot tubes. They were so sturdy that I didn't want to throw them away and not use them, so I decided to do an upcycling holiday craft project with one of the two long 5-foot tubes I got.

How much did it cost to make this Toilet Paper Roll Christmas Craft DIY Project?
This project cost me very little. The vinyl sticky backs were on sale. I would say it cost about $10.00.
How long did it take to make this DIY project?
This project took me about 2 hours to make.
How did I make this DIY project?
Let me show you what this tube looked like. Here is the before image.
First, using a saw (Affiliate Link), I cut all the tubes into 11 inches, 10 inches, 9 inches, 8 inches, 7 inches, 6 inches, and 4 inches. Keep the tube steady to make a straight line around it. Also, be sure to rotate the tube while cutting so as not to make an angled line, which would result in an uneven surface.
Then, cut the Red and Green vinyl sheets to the size of the perimeter of the tubes. Be very careful not to waste the vinyl sheet pieces. Four inches and six inches can go together in one row. The 9-inch tube, 8-inch tube, and 7-inch tube can go on one sheet. The 10-inch tube and 11-inch tube can be on one sheet. Be sure to add at least a ½ inch above and below so you can wrap them inside the tube to cover the top edges.
Remove the sticky back and wrap the pieces around the tube, pressing to remove any bubbles. Do this for all the tubes with the vinyl sheets.

Then, on the ends, cut slits and then wrap the excess vinyl into the inside of the tubes.
Here is what they look like when they are done. You can make any size green. I chose to do the two middle sizes green.
Next, using scissors, cut the pearl sheet around the right perimeter of each tube to decorate it. Cut all the sheets before applying them to the tube.
Now, add them to the top of each tube about ½ inch or more, depending on how it lays next to the other tubes. The height can vary, so they will lie against the other tubes when put together.
Then, place all the tubes inside the one cleaned yogurt container and press down firmly. It will fit nicely without glue, but you can glue it if you want to.
Then, add the white sock over the clear yogurt container to hide the view. Add faux flowers.
