Chicken Sausage Spinach and Beans Recipe

Cooked sausage is great for weeknight meals because they cook up easily and make a meal come together fast! This weeknight dinner recipe is an example of a cooked sausage recipe packed with flavor. This chicken sausage spinach and beans recipe only takes less than 30 minutes to make. Follow along and see how easy this recipe is to make for dinner tonight.

What is in this chicken sausage spinach and beans recipe?

1 lb of cooked chicken sausage sliced into ¼ to ½ inch pieces
One can of Cannelloni beans drained
1 tablespoon olive oil
One - 16 oz. of frozen spinach thawed
2 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon basil dried
1 teaspoon parsley dried
½ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of pepper

How to make this chicken sausage spinach and bean recipe?

Heat the skillet. Add to the skillet olive oil, thawed spinach, ½ of the salt and pepper, then break up the spinach so it will cook faster —Cook for 3 minutes.

Then add the cannellini beans, garlic, basil, parsley, rest of the salt and pepper to the skillet. Add the cooked sausage and stir together. Reduce heat to medium. Cover it for a few minutes to heat through for about 7 minutes.

Remove lid and continue cooking for another 5 minutes or until the liquid evaporates. That's it! Enjoy!

Ingredients
