How to make a Keto-friendly Freezer Meal Ranch Burger Recipe?
Add Ground Beef, chopped onions, and two tablespoons of your favorite Keto-style ranch seasoning. I used a combination of this one from Add A Pinch blog and this one from Whole30. Whichever one you pick or make your own, don't use sugar in your ranch seasoning. What's great is that these recipes make way more than you need, so you can easily store the rest for future recipes.
Combine the burgers into four quarter-pounder burgers on a plate.
How to freeze this Ranch Burger?
If you plan on freezing them, place two next to each other on wax paper about a quarter from the bottom at the tear. Then, fold the wax paper over the top of the burgers.
Then, place the other two burgers on top of the wax paper on top of the other two burgers. The wax paper should be between each set of burgers. This will keep them from freezing together.
Move the remaining wax paper on top of the second layer of burgers. Wrap the sides and place them in a freezer zipper bag. Be sure to press out the air as much as possible. Write on the bag, the number of burgers, what seasonings you used, and the date you made it. This will remind you what is inside the bag when everything is frozen. Then, freeze on a flat surface in the freezer.
The finished recipe is ready to freeze.
That's it. A note about defrosting: When you defrost it, it works best to place it in the refrigerator and defrost it slowly. Place it on a plate so that if the baggie isn't sealed properly, no excess blood will seep from the bag and damage your shelves (Affiliate Link) or contaminate other foods.
