sausage and broccoli rabe recipe

When growing up, I had my fair share of broccoli rabe. It is a little bitter, but if you buy it in season, you will see why Italians love broccoli rabe. This Sausage and Broccoli Rabe recipe is one I modified from my mom's version. It's delicious on quinoa or rice or even pasta.

Ingredients:

1 - 1 ½ lb Pork or Turkey Sausage
One bunch of Broccoli Rabe (chop is smaller pieces and remove stems)
3 Garlic Cloves
2 tablespoon Olive Oil
One teaspoon Red Pepper
Serve with pasta, couscous, rice or quinoa

Here are the broccoli rabe and sausage cooked.  Doesn't it look great, now what to put it on?

I added mine to the top to prepared quinoa, but you can add it to pasta, Gluten Free pasta, couscous, or rice. It was delicious!
