Beautify Powder Room Sink Cabinet Idea

Did you ever feel embarrassed about what your family and friends see under your vanity in your powder room?  Well, this post is for you!  The powder room vanity holds a variety of items, including cleaning supplies, personal products, towels, etc., so to make it look organized for your company, here is a straightforward and affordable way to make a powder room sink cabinet organized.

Bathroom Sink Beautification

Before Powder Room Makeover

First, you need to clean out the space under your sink. Clean the cabinet bottom well and let dry. Notice in this cabinet, the cleaning products warped the wood inside the cabinet.  "We'll fix that!"  Just wait and see.

Now, if you are familiar with my blog posts, you know I use temporary self-adhesive shelf/cabinet paper for different purposes a lot.  This time, I actually will use it for its intended purpose: a cabinet!

Secondly, I got a small basket (plastic would be best) for your cleaning supplies.  Usually, it costs about $5.00. However, I bet you can find it at the dollar store too.  Be sure that you measure from the powder room sink cabinet door to the pipes under the sink to make sure you buy the right size basket.  Then, place all your cleaning supplies in the basket and label (Affiliate Link) the front of the basket "Cleaning."  I used a label (Affiliate Link) that I purchased on clearance at a nearby store.  A  pack of 5 labels (Affiliate Link) cost me $1.00.  It's a bargain, isn't it? =)

Next, I splurged and bought a small basket from IKEA for my extra towels for $8.00 and labeled the wicker basket (Affiliate Link) "Extra Towels."  I have hand towels on the towel bars. However, I put the extra set of towels I have under the sink.

After Powder Room Transformation

Here is how it looks now. The extra bins helped keep my stuff separated under the sink. It still works to this day.

I love it!  The total cost of the project was around $20.00. Note: I still have more adhesive shelf paper left for another project, so the cost was minimal.  Just in case you are wondering, I put an extra box of tissues in the back behind the baskets.  The other powder room essentials are above the toilet (not shown).

Happy organizing!  If you love this post, please share it with your friends and family. Feel free to check out this other bathroom organization post if you are looking for other areas in the bathroom to organize. Bathroom Organizing Essentials
