Apple and Walnut Bundt Cake Recipe DF GF

Apple and walnut pair so well in a dessert so it was natural for them to be added to this cake to spice up the vanilla gluten-free cake box I had in the kitchen.

While I enjoy Wegman’s brand Gluten Free Vanilla Cake, I found that I wanted to make something a little tastier. So, the Apple and Walnut Bundt Cake was born.

Bundt cakes are lovely because you don’t necessarily need to add icing, which is what we always lack in our home. It’s an option that you can do during the weekday or over the weekend. It’s also a great option to bring to a friend's or family member's home as a surprise or pot luck. Read on to see how easy this cake is to make for you and your family. Happy baking!

Apple and Walnut Bundt Cake Ingredients:

1 box Gluten Free Vanilla Cake Mix - Wheat free (by Wegmans)

1 cup walnuts (chopped)
4 tablespoon of shortening
1 ½ teaspoon of water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
