Before and After Shoe Organizers

Last Modified: November 11, 2023 Sabrina Quairoli This blog uses cookies. It also has affiliate links. We earn sponsored content income.

A family of shoes (Affiliate Link) all in one place can be pretty scary for the novice organizer. But I am here to show you that it's easy to set up a system if you do some planning first. Wow, lots of shoes (Affiliate Link), I can't believe it! So, I purchased six shoe organizers to organize my family shoes (Affiliate Link) to add to my garage (Affiliate Link). They hold all of the kids' shoes (Affiliate Link) and my seasonal shoes (Affiliate Link), as well as my husband's work outside shoes (Affiliate Link).

The below picture is all the shoes (Affiliate Link) we had in the entire home. Wow, lots of shoes (Affiliate Link), I can't believe it!  Think about it: you probably have at least ten pairs of shoes (Affiliate Link) right now that you wear throughout the year. So, with a family of four, that can be at least 40 pairs of shoes (Affiliate Link). Crazy, right?

So, to handle this huge mess, I first started by getting all the shoes (Affiliate Link) from the entire home. Winter and summer shoes (Affiliate Link) together so I could see ALL the shoes (Affiliate Link) that we had.

I determined that my daughter and I had the most shoes (Affiliate Link), so we would probably need three organizers each. My son would need 2, and my husband would need one organizer.

Then, I purchased six shoe organizers to organize my family shoes (Affiliate Link) to add to my garage (Affiliate Link). They hold all of the kids' shoes (Affiliate Link) and my seasonal shoes (Affiliate Link) as well as my husband's work outside shoes (Affiliate Link).

Ta-Da! By nesting the shoes (Affiliate Link) together, you can fit as many as four pairs in one drawer to as little as two pairs of boots in one drawer.

Try it and see how many shoes (Affiliate Link) you can store in your space. I purchased the black bins from IKEA recently and purchased the white bins some years ago.

Unfortunately, they do not have the white bins anymore. They do have bins in red as well.

We added hooks on the left side for coats and snowsuits that may need drying. Surprisingly, the shoes (Affiliate Link) do not get as cold as you would think.

See the continuation of this post on ORGANIZED SHOE STATION FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY to see how we added the other items in the after image above.

If you click through and purchase from Amazon (Affiliate Link).com, I will receive a small referral fee at no additional cost to you. Happy Shopping!
