Some time ago, I had reorganized my shoe station for my entire family. Here is the post. The organized shoe station for the whole family needed to include several different areas for everyone's most-used shoes (affiliate). We didn't have a place in the foyer to hold ALL those shoes (affiliate) so our attached garage (affiliate) was the closest area to work with. Although our garage (affiliate) was very narrow, we had to create an area that would still allow us to pull the car in when needed on those winter storm days. We used these IKEA mountable cabinets and added pretty bins above for extra storage. But we needed more hooks for other things. Here's how we did added the accessories to this organized shoe station.

How much time did it take to make this modification?
It only took me about two hours to make this modification to my shoe area, adding a place for hats (affiliate).
How did I make the update?
Recently, I added other accessories to make the area even more organized.
I added these cute bins for gloves and scarves. I got them on clearance at Lowe's.
I also added the shoe holders for wet shoes (affiliate) on the floor.
I moved the tennis gear to the right side.
I moved the yoga mats to the left side.
How to customize a store-bought hook
For $ 10 each, I purchased these hat racks. Great price. But the color wasn't right. So, out came my spray paint.
And, I went to town on them. Primed first, then painted black (affiliate). And they came out amazing! We still have them hanging in the garage (affiliate) as of the time of this update.
