If you're like me, you have an electric toothbrush in your home. I didn't care for everyone sharing one toothbrush base because there were bound to be times when the charger wouldn't work for a person while they were brushing their teeth. Over time, I was able to purchase two sets of toothbrushes at a nearby wholesale store at a discount. The sets included two toothbrush bases in one box. However, the problem that was created was unusual. I now had four electric toothbrushes on my bathroom double sink, which created a cluttered mess. We thought about putting them in a cabinet, but were concerned that the kids would forget to brush their teeth and that they wouldn't dry properly.
Customizing an Acrylic Makeup Organizer in a DIY Toothbrush Holder for the family

BEFORE
So, I went to my nearby favorite discount store, Marshalls, and looked through all the acrylic makeup holders. The unit needed to be washable and had to have wide enough openings to accommodate items such as a soap dispenser, four electric toothbrushes, two tubes of toothpaste, flossers, and cups. And this is what I found. The centerpiece was larger, so it could hold my husband's and my toothbrushes, as well as the tubes of toothpaste.
Instructions
I purchased some clear letters and affixed them to the different areas. Then labeled the back sections with my family's initials.
Tip: To create a straight line, cut a piece of painter's tape(affiliate) and affix it to where you want the bottom of the letters to start.
Then, add the letters above the tape. Press the letters firmly into the acrylic organizer. Then remove the tape. Walla, straight labels (Affiliate Link). =)
I also purchased a soap dispenser from Marshall's that would fit in the opening.

It looks great! What do you think? Even our flossers can stand up in the sections. They fall over a bit, but they don't fall out, so I am OK with that. The cost for this entire makeover was $16.00. Yes, $16.00. It's worked pretty well to clear off the double sink in the bathroom.
