The Ultimate Clutter-free Father's Day Gift Guide For Dad

Father's Day is coming up, and we all know what that means...we need to find a gift for a father who has it all or doesn't want anything. But, think about it, do you want to add clutter to your dad's home? If the answer is now, I made up a clutter-free Father's Day gift guide for dad to help you.

Here are 13 clutter-free gifts for dad I found.

  1. Prepare a nice meal for dad: make a nice dinner for him or make him his favorite dessert. Check out my grilling recipes to help you find the best recipe to make for him.
  2. Give him gift cards to his favorite restaurant.
  3. Gift him gift cards for music or movies on iTunes or Google Play.
  4. Give him gift cards for car detailing from a local business.
  5. Gift him tickets to his favorite band, sporting events, or movies.
  6. Give him a weekend getaway.
  7. Gift him a membership to a gym if he likes to workout.
  8. Give him an Xbox Live 3 Month Gold Membership - Digital Code if he is a gamer.
  9. Gift him a golf membership for a period of time if he loves golf.
  10. If he likes other sports, purchase some days that he can go there to play his favorite game. For example, give him a bowling pass for so many visits. Does he like racing cars? He might like doing NASCAR racing experience.
  11. Does he love food? Give him a monthly club membership for a period of time.  Beer of the month club, Fruit of the month club: Here are some options from Amazon (affiliate): Golden State DeLite Monthly Fruit Club - 3 Month Club, Root Beer of the Month Club--12 months, International Cheese of the Month - 3 Month/Pay Full (1.5 pounds)
  12. Purchase a class for him to learn something new. Consider buying one for yourself too so you can take the course together. If he likes cooking, you can check out classes at Sur La Table.
  13. Gift him a season pass for the year: amusement parks, aquarium, baseball games. This may be pricy. However, if there is an activity you did together in the past, this would be an excellent opportunity to continue that tradition.

Benefits for giving clutter-free gifts for dad:

  1. You are not adding to the clutter in his home.
  2. You will have a unique opportunity to spend time with dad.
  3. Spending time deciding on a special clutter-free gift shows him that you know his interests.
Spending time is always more important than giving stuff.

I hope this gives you some ideas on what to give your dad this year. What are you planning to give dad for Father's Day this year? What was your dad's favorite gift in the past? Please share your thoughts below.

Buying anything for my husband is very difficult for a couple of reasons. First, he pretty much buys himself whatever he wants:) Secondly, he is very busy and doesn't have time to enjoy many things. This year I got him a pair of All Birds, which have come highly recommended. Clothes seem to be a gift with him because he doesn't enjoy shopping, and thus is happy to have it done for him! Great to avoid buying small things that end up being clutter later.

Thank you for this list, I will share it with my followers. You're so right, spending time together is so much more important than stuff!

Gifts of time, not stuff are the best! My husband is a train buff, and last year I gave him a gift certificate to go to a train museum together. Another time, I arranged for a train ride to a town north of us, and then we had lunch and explored the village together. This year, there were a few thing-things he wanted, so he'll be getting some real stuff. We're saving the time-related gift for our anniversary.

Thanks for the list. I am trying to find a gift idea. I think I'll get my husband's car detailed. He'll like that.

That's a great idea. He will probably love it.

My husband and I used to sometimes take our dads out for fish and chips. They enjoyed the food and each other's company.
