I love reading quotes (Affiliate Link). If you are like me, you may not be able to find the right words to express a feeling or viewpoint, that's where quotes (Affiliate Link) come in. Today's post is about life lessons and decided to read some excellent quotes (Affiliate Link). Here are five life lessons I came across. Feel free to share them.
“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because, without courage, you can't practice any other virtue consistently.” ~ Maya Angelou
This quote (Affiliate Link) reminds me that courage is powerful and fear can stop us from doing anything. But courage can empower us to do more than our limiting thoughts and feelings.
“If there's a single lesson that life teaches us, it's that wishing doesn't make it so.” ~ Lev Grossman
This is one; I share with my kids all the time. The action is what makes things become a reality not wishes.
“The trouble is if you don’t spend your life yourself, other people spend it for you.” ~ Peter Shaffer
This quote (Affiliate Link) reminds me to spend time moving forward in life and limit judgments on myself. If I have lemons, I will make lemonade.
“We are addicted to our thoughts. We cannot change anything if we cannot change our thinking.”
~ Santosh Kalwar
This reminds me that thinking is powerful. [tweetthis]"Having positive thoughts are as powerful as negative ones."[/tweetthis]
“That's the thing about lessons, you always learn them when you don't expect them or want them.”
~ Cecelia Ahern
This quote (Affiliate Link) reminds me that experiences are not bad. They help us get to where we want to go in our lives.
That's it for life lessons for now. I hope these quotes (Affiliate Link) inspire you to recall your favorite life lessons. Feel free to share your favorite life lesson below.

Speaking of quotes, it was kind of interesting this that Yogi Berra just passed away. I think he has the best quotes. You know what he is trying to say, it is just the way he says it. Since he passed away, the one I have heard the most from him is “Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours.”
Thanks for sharing these quotes with us.

Lovely images Sabrina! And those are matched with the wisdom in your quotes. I particularly like, “We are addicted to our thoughts. ... ” by Santosh Kalwar. Isn't THAT the truth!

All good quotes. The one that really caught my eye is the one by Peter Shaffer. It's about being accountable to yourself and it sort of says that if you aren't you can't blame others for what happens in your life.

Oh I love quotes, and in fact have compiled 3 quotation books. You've selected some beautiful examples and in fact it's hard to pick a favorite, but I really like the Peter Shaffer quote, "The trouble is if you don't spend your life yourself, other people spend it for you."

Great quotes and neat graphics. I like “The trouble is if you don’t spend your life yourself, other people spend it for you.” ~ Peter Shaffer the best but the one about learning lessons when you don't need or want them gave me a chuckle.

I love the pictures with the quotes over pretty fall leaves. It really is wonderful to keep a collection of these quotes. They really do point to things that we can easily forget that will help us live life to the fullest. The 5 life lesson quotes that you highlighted are definitely good ones.

Oh I just love all of these! But I have to say that I repeat the Maya Angelou quote about courage all the time. Everything is about courage, to me. It takes courage just to get through every day with a little grace.
