Starting a Keto lifestyle is not easy. But, it is possible. I have been on this lifestyle change for 4 months now and it allowed me to not only lose a lot of weight but it also helped me get my energy level more balanced. One thing I found was more difficult is finding desserts that I can have that don't have a lot of carbs in it and taste good for me. So, I started experimenting. I recently did a Ricotta cheesecake which was amazing. If you want to visit this recipe, click on the link above. But, it only had a little chocolate in it. And, I wanted more chocolate and saltier. So this is the salted KETO friendly brownie recipe.
Simple Ingredients:
2 large eggs
½ cup coconut oil (liquid)
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup water
⅓ cup cocoa powder
½ cup monk fruit
¾ cup coconut flour
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup mini morsels (Libby's)
3 tablespoon butter (melted)
(Himalayan Salt for garnish)
Easy Instructions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Mix all the wet ingredients. Then add the dry ingredients. Only mix till combined. Note: If it seems dry or too thick, try adding ¼ cup of water at a time to help it to be looser.
Bake 50-55 minutes or until dry on top and poke a toothpick in, and it should come out dry.
Let cool completely and then sprinkle a little Himalayan salt on top as a garnish before serving.
