Last time, we talked about organizing college dorm room gadgets. I will be continuing this topic in this post to share even more dorm room things to help organize a small dorm room space. If you didn't read the last post, here is the link, You absolutely need when Organizing a College Dorm Room Part 1. Here are organizing college dorm room gadgets to make your year a successful one.

80% of students often feel stressed.

UNDER THE BED BIN:

In a dorm room, under the bed (Affiliate Link) is the jackpot of storage space to maximize a room with minimal clutter. Under-the-bed bins with wheels make it easier to roll in and out from under your bed. Click on the images below to purchase from Amazon (Affiliate Link).

DESK ORGANIZER SHELVING:

Usually, desks in a dorm are very simple, with a drawer or two. Having a way to organize the textbooks and other things on top of the desk helps make it easy to grab when packing your backpack or studying. Reaching out to campus life. They can tell you what the width and depth of the desk are standard in their dorm rooms. Below is one I found on Amazon (Affiliate Link) (affiliate).

BATHROOM CADDY:

Be sure that the bathroom caddy (affiliate) has a handle and compartments for storing individual items. Click on the image below to purchase from Amazon (Affiliate Link) (affiliate).

BATHROBE:

Another organizing college dorm item is a bathroom. The reason why this is on here is that you will most likely be sharing a bathroom down the hall or in a suite. I prefer Terry Cloth Robes, which is like this one against my skin. This item helps if you do not have a bathroom in your suite and have to walk down the hall to take a shower.  It helps you dry off completely before getting dressed. SMALL APPLIANCES:

Any small combo appliance works well in dorm rooms and saves you space. Be sure to ask the residence life to ensure they will allow certain small appliances (Affiliate Link). Click on the image below to purchase from Amazon (Affiliate Link)(affiliate).

FILING CABINET PORTABLE BIN:

If you can find a bin with a lock, that works too. There are always files that need to be kept organized, so bringing a filing bin with you is a good idea. You can buy a filing cabinet (Affiliate Link) with a lock, and they can even be fireproof if you want. Click on the image below to purchase from Amazon (Affiliate Link) (affiliate).

What a great addition to the items in your first list! This reminds me of how much college is the same — and different — from my era. In particular, although we did have secret hot pots (always used in the hallway, as they'd blow a fuse if used in the actual dorm room), cooking in the dorms was verboten. I'd have loved that little waffle iron or breakfast station! Luckily, we had a private suite bathroom, so shower caddies weren't necessary, but goodness, your display shows how much nicer they've become. It all *almost* makes me wish I were back in school.

I got the lamp/organizer combo for my older daughter and I would definitely get it again for my younger daughter. We also got bed risers to make more use of the space under the bed. The combo coffee pot toaster is THE BOMB... never seen that!
