This year marks the 4th year we have done these weekly challenges ebooks! I hope you have taken advantage of this free 52-week challenge to organize your life. The goal for this year's weekly challenge ebook is to help you improve what is important in your home life while streamlining and removing cluttered items. Read on and see what else we have changed from prior years of weekly challenges. Let's take this time and truly improve our lives through decluttering and refocusing on what matters the most.
What's new in this year's Weekly Challenges ebook?
There are new additions that were added to this ebook and I want to share with you what I added.
FREE To Do Weekly Checklist for Planning that week's challenge.
I added a checklist you can use each week, over and over again, to help you with making decisions on that particular week's task. It also has a checklist of needed items you can add to for planning that week's challenge. Make these plans when the week starts, which is on a Sunday. It has a place for you to determine the time and day you want to do the challenge as well. This makes it super easy for you to plan for that week's challenge. I also included questions for you to ask yourself or others to help you decide if you are OK with letting go of the item.
Grouped the weekly challenges into Month challenges.
From my survey, some people said they like to organize monthly. So, I grouped the weeks into months in relation to the start date. This will help those people who want to organize several rooms over a few days in a month instead of weekly. If that's you, you will love this feature!
We are not only focusing on stuff this year!
This year, I added challenges that are to help you and your family work together to get organized. While the majority of these tasks you can do alone, I also added the occasional "ask a family member" to participate challenge. By doing this, it will give you and your family an opportunity to make changes together and therefore, resulting in more concrete solutions that will work for a long time.
There are many areas we are going to focus on this year.
From the home office to the shed and garage, the challenges range in all different types. However, they are all super easy to do by yourself or with your family, especially if you plan it out with the weekly planning checklist in the back of the book.
Some challenges offer both a challenge for families and an individual (single adult person) challenge. You do not have to skip a week if we are talking about children or a partner and you do not have either.
The first challenge will be a goal setting challenge for each room in your home.
On the first challenge for this week, you will see a "Write a Goal for Each Room in Your Home" reference to a sheet in the back of the ebook. Use this ebook page to decide on your one goal for each room for 2021. Keep in mind that as you go through your home and the challenges, also work on getting your room goal completed! This will be something you can do in addition to that week's challenge. The thought behind this is when you complete a small organizing task in a room, you have the motivation to do another task in that room as well. So, to not waste this opportunity, each room's goal will give you a little more to do in that room!
What stayed the same from the prior year?
The ebook indicates the exact start date in relation to the calendar of this year, so you know exactly which week to do. This will also be shared and discussed on our private Facebook Group (the link is in the ebook) you can join for FREE. I am also going to do short videos to help you with that week's challenge on occasion. This is new for 2021!
In the back of the ebook, I also kept the X out the weeks you organized the calendar. The purpose of this is to show you how many weeks you organized in one year! It's probably going to be a lot!

Hi Sabrina,
I love the weekly challenge idea. Focusing on one area each week is much more doable and less overwhelming than trying to do too much decluttering all at once.
Happy new year!
Great idea. I think many people are able to organize themselves, they just need the guidance you offer here. I love that you offer this weekly.
Congratulations on creating so many years of this incredible project. I signed up and can see what a detailed game plan this provides for people wanting to get and stay organized on their own.
I can see how much thought and planning went into setting up the getting organized challenge—what an excellent guide for people that love to work on their own. And the fact that you also offer a private Facebook group is terrific too. I'm excited for all those that will participate and work towards creating a more organized, peaceful home.
I loved the way you put this together, Sabrina! Also, congratulations on this being your fourth year doing this ebook. It sounds like you have a great thing going!
Sabrina,
You are such a go-getter. Good for you! Planning and goal setting can be difficult when facing a big project. I really like how you organized it into a monthly challenge with checklists, which is doable for most. Who doesn’t love a good checklist?
Congratulations on putting these together for four years - a great accomplishment, and a very tangible, actionable tool for readers. I've been considering setting some "renew" goals for rooms in my home. I think I'll start a list on my phone to remember my ideas!
Ohhh. I love a challenge! Great Blog wonderful ideas!
Including questions to help determine whether you need something is gold!
