I went to bed one evening without putting my clothes away. It was an exhausting night, and I didn't have the energy to brush my teeth, let alone put away my clothes. So, I just left them there. The next night I brought in and left something that didn't belong in the room. I was too busy and just didn't want to deal with it. The following night I had a few minutes and decided I would tackle the items I left in my room. As I was picking the things up, I that it only took me a few minutes to deal with these articles. Why did I wait? I thought to myself. I just didn't know the answer to the question. This situation is very familiar to what I experience and what my clients experience very day.
We must make time to straighten up our bedroom so that we can have a more relaxing night's sleep. You may not think it matters, but it does. Try it and see. Can you handle having clutter around your bedroom? Take the time to clear it up and make it a point to keep it that way for at least a week or two.
While you are keeping it clear, be sure to get rid of any items that have sad or upset memories attached to it. A bedroom doesn't need those memories. Move it to another room.
The number one bedroom organizing tip is the only items that should be stored in your bedroom are the things you love and care to look at each morning and evening. Share if you agree!
Take this to heart, and you will have a more restful sleep. Sweet dreams.
