This year was super interesting here at Sabrina's Organizing blog. We had some posts that went viral and others that came back from the dead because of COVID. This year was about getting rid of stuff and revisiting the areas we forgot about since we had that extra time we never had. Today, I will share with you the posts that were the most popular home organizing posts for this year. Let's begin!
The 5th Most popular organizing post for this year was the Should You Fold or Hang Clothing post.
This post talks about is it better to fold or hang clothes in your closet. We also discuss if certain items need to be hung or folded because of the type of material. Hint - not all sweaters need to be folded. Visit the post to get more inspiration and make your closet and clothes last longer and stay more organized!
The 4th most popular organizing post for this year was The Most Important Things to Keep in Your Linen Closet.
This post helps you keep your linen closet more organized by using this handy infographic. Each shelf of the linen closet should have its very own assigned items. And, safety is important as well. You do not want to have cleaning supplies on the floor if you have toddlers in the bathroom. They may be able to get the items. Visit the post to get all the tips you want to make your linen closet amazing!
The third most popular post for this year was the What to keep in Your Shed post.
This shed (Affiliate Link) organizing post gives you lots of product options on what can be stored in the shed (Affiliate Link). It also talks about organizing tips on placement and arranging items in the shed (Affiliate Link). We also included this great infographic to help you.
The second most popular post for this year was the 10 Easy Tips for Organizing an Older Adult's home post.
This one has been a favorite on our blog for some time now. We have revised it and added additional tips to this post as adult children are starting to see that their parents want to stay home. This one is a personal love of mine because it was created when I helped several downsizing clients and my family. We included a checklist (Affiliate Link) to help the parents keep their important paper organized called "20 Personal Important Documents to Keep Safe" to help minimize the chance of fraud, especially if help comes into the home often. Plus, a medication list sheet to share with the parent. Feel free to check it out.
Lastly, the number one most popular post for this year was our 12 Ways to Make Your Bedroom an Oasis post.
It seems like an appropriate post for this year with the pandemic, doesn't it? This is another post that I like to revise and modify as the years' progress, so people see the latest and greatest stuff that is happening to make a bedroom a relaxing space. Feel free to visit it and make your room a wonderful place to fall asleep at night and wake up in the morning.
Well, there you have it! What do you think? This makes sense to me that these are the most popular posts on the blog this year! Now it's your turn; what was your favorite blog from Sabrina's Organizing this year? Please leave a comment below. I would love to hear from you.

As with everyone else, I definitely get why creating a serene bedroom was the top of the pops for your blog. (As a paper person, I was surprised your "20 Personal Important Documents to Keep Safe" didn't hit the top five, but I'm an outlier!) Keep up the great blogging in 2021!

I love them all, but especially your number one post! Creating a tranquil, intentional oasis is always important. Even more so this year. Congratulations on a year of inspirational, useful, and intentional blogging! Happy New Year to you. <3

It totally makes sense that your most popular post would be about creating a peaceful space in your bedroom. Everyone was looking for some peace and calm during 2020. Me too!

I can see why your shed organizing post was very popular--especially with the infographic you provided your readers. I have come across some clients who didn't even realize they could move some of their seasonal items to a place other than their garage. And for people who have a home with no garage, a shed is the perfect storage solution for tools and outdoor items. We are in and out of our shed multiple times a year. I know our garage would have less usable space without it!

It's fascinating to see what your most popular posts were in 2020. And I guess it's no surprise that making your bedroom an oasis was #1. We all needed a sanctuary and a place we could go to relax. I'm surprised that a post about creating a home office didn't make it on your list. With so many people working from home this past year, they had to get creative about carving out a good workspace.

Sabrina, what I love most about your posts is that they’re chock-full of so much great information. It’s interesting how we gravitate towards what we need. I enjoyed your posts on to hang or to fold and what to keep in a linen closet as they’re so much a part of what I do in my work.
