Ground Turkey Brussel Sprouts and Peppers Recipe

Ground turkey is an excellent option for easy weeknight homemade dinners. Adding brussel sprouts to any dish also adds fiber, which we all should get more of for better digestive health. Today, I will show you a one-pot recipe that is pretty easy to make and delicious. It includes both ground turkey and brussel sprouts and can be made for dinner during the week. Follow along and see how I made this recipe of ground turkey, brussel sprouts, and peppers.

Ground Turkey Brussel Sprouts, and Peppers Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 - 1.5 lb of ground turkey
  • 1 pack 16 oz frozen Peppers and onions
  • 2 tablespoon of Rotisserie Chicken seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil (Affiliate Link)
  • 1 lb Brussels Sprouts, shredded bag

Instructions

Below are the easy instructions to help you make this recipe.

Pull out all the ingredients. Add olive oil (Affiliate Link) to the skillet.

Empty the frozen peppers and onions, season with the 1 tablespoon Rotisserie Chicken seasoning into the hot skillet, and cook for 5 minutes.

Then add the ground turkey and Season with 1 tablespoon Rotisserie Chicken seasoning. Break up and cook the turkey. Cook for 10 minutes.

Then empty out the shredded brussel sprouts bag. Add a pinch more of the 1 tablespoon Rotisserie Chicken seasoning. Cook for another 10 minutes or until wilted.

Toss and Enjoy.

Variations

If you want to change up this recipe, you can do the following.

  • Spicy - add chili pepper flakes with the olive oil (Affiliate Link) to infuse heat into the dish while cooking.
  • Beans - add some great northern beans, 1 can is plenty, add it right before you add the brussel sprouts.

Equipment

You probably have the equipment in your kitchen. You will need a 12-14-inch non-stick skillet and a wooden spoon for stirring.

Storage

This recipe can hold up in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. It is great for leftovers too. Bring it with you for lunch. =)

Description

This easy-to-make and delicious ground turkey and brussel sprouts recipe works well for any weeknight dinner. It also helps increase your intake of fiber, and it's perfect for a low-carb dinner you can make in less than 45 minutes. Try it for yourself. 


Ingredients

1 - 1.5 lb of ground turkey

1 pack 16 oz frozen Peppers and onions 

2 TBSP of Rotisserie Chicken seasoning

2 TBSP Olive Oil (Affiliate Link)

1 lb Brussels Sprouts, shredded bag


Instructions

Pull out all the ingredients. Add olive oil (Affiliate Link) to the skillet.

Empty the frozen peppers and onions, season with the 1 tablespoon Rotisserie Chicken seasoning into the hot skillet, and cook for 5 minutes. 

Then add the ground turkey and Season with the 1 tablespoon Rotisserie Chicken seasoning. Break up and cook the turkey. Cook for 10 minutes.
