January brings sales of organizing products. National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (N.A.P.O.) sponsors a Get Organized Month event #GOMonth2026. Many retailers also offer discounts during the month to encourage people to get organized. Stay away from holiday decorating bins; they are usually not discounted until next month. Stick with clear bins instead.

Things You Need When Organizing a College Dorm Room-Part 1
Getting ready for your first college year is an exciting and emotional time. You not only have to go to school in a new place but if you are like 67% of college students, you also have to live on campus. "Where do I begin?" You might say to yourself.
Things You Need When Organizing a College Dorm Room - Part 2
Last time, we discussed organizing college dorm room essentials. I will continue this topic in this post to share even more dorm room essentials to help manage a small dorm space. If you didn't read the last post, here is the link, You absolutely need when organizing a College Dorm Room Part 1.

How To Keep A Family Command Station Organized
Over the years, I organized many family command stations. Personally, I love to organize them because usually they are in the kitchen and can easily be a drop zone for many families. The kitchen is the heart and center of the home, so it should be the most organized place since we are always there.

Pro tips for maximizing your savings
Below are some additional pro tips on finding deals on organizing products.
Buy basic bins in bulk: When you find affordable clear bins, buy more than you need for that project. I usually add one or two extras to get at the discounted rate and then store them in my organizing supplies area. This area is a small space under my steps where I store unused bins for use in various organizing projects throughout the year.
Quality over quantity: A well-made organizing system on sale is better than a cheap one at full price. Wait for the right sale rather than settling for a subpar product. They will not last. I have been buying quality bins for over 15 years, so investing in better quality is a wise choice.
Follow Your Favorite Stores: Sign up for email lists from The Container Store (affiliate), Ikea, and your go-to retailers. Many offer email-exclusive and text list-exclusive sales.
Price Match: Don't forget that many retailers offer price matching on many items from other stores. If you find a better deal elsewhere, ask about their price match policy before making a purchase.
Local/regional stores may also have great deals, so be sure to shop local as well. Sign up for their newsletter or text list to receive first notice of the deals.
Conclusion
Organizing your home doesn't have to drain your finances. With this monthly shopping guide, you'll know exactly when to buy what you need at the best possible prices. Keep in mind, the goal isn't just to save money. It is to create sustainable, organized systems that make your life run more smoothly for you and your family.
