DF GF Peach Dump Cake Recipe Ingredients
Here is only a handful of ingredients. Many of them are just because if the box mix I picked up.
- Non-Stick Spray (Affiliate Link)
- 1 - Wegmans Gluten Free Golden Cake Mix
- One 16 oz old-fashioned peach slices in heavy syrup jar
- 8 tablespoon of Earth Balance Alternative Butter
- 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon (Affiliate Link)
DF GF Peach Dump Cake Recipe Instructions
There are straightforward steps to make this dump cake.
Place the butter spread in the freezer for at least 1 hour until lightly frozen.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or the temperature on the box mix.)
Gather all the ingredients above. There is no need for eggs, water, or oil. This recipe will just use the dry box mix.
Then, using a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish, spray with nonstick spray to help the peaches from burning and sticking at the bottom.
Drain the jar of peaches and set aside. If the alternative butter is not enough to cover the entire cake mix, keep the syrup.
Line up the peaches in the baking dish to create one layer.
Sprinkle the box mix evenly over the peaches' top to cover them completely. Sprinkle the cinnamon (Affiliate Link) on top of the alternative butter.
Then, with a grater, pull out the alternative butter brick and grate it over the mix in the baking pan. If you do not want to do this, you can cut the alternative butter into small cubes and spread it evenly around the top of the mix. Either way works.
If your alternative butter doesn't cover the entire baking pan, you can add a tablespoon at a time of the peach syrup around the dryer areas that don't have alternative butter.
Place in the oven to bake for about 40 minutes, according to your box mix recipe, or until it is golden brown on top.
Let it sit for a few minutes, then serve warm or at room temperature with a dollop of So Delicious Dairy Free Coco Whip Coconut Whipped topping or ice cream. Enjoy.
