DF GF Peach Dump Cake Recipe Instructions
There are straightforward steps to make this dump cake.

Place the butter spread in the freezer for at least 1 hour until lightly frozen.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or the temperature on the box mix)
Gather all the ingredients above. There is no need for eggs, water, or oil. This recipe will just use the dry box mix.
Then, using a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish, spray it with nonstick spray to help the peaches from burning and sticking to the bottom.

Drain the jar of peaches and set aside. If the alternative butter is not enough to cover the entire cake mix, keep the syrup.

Line the baking dish with the peaches to create a single layer.

Sprinkle the box mix evenly over the peaches' top to cover them completely. Sprinkle the cinnamon (affiliate) on top of the alternative butter.

Then, using a grater, grate the alternative butter brick over the mix in the baking pan. If you do not want to do this, you can cut the alternative butter into small cubes and spread it evenly around the top of the mix. Either way works.
If your alternative butter doesn't cover the entire baking pan, you can add a tablespoon of peach syrup at a time to the dryer areas that don't have alternative butter.
Place in the oven to bake for about 40 minutes, according to your box mix recipe, or until it is golden brown on top.
Let it sit for a few minutes, then serve warm or at room temperature with a dollop of So Delicious Dairy Free Coco Whip Coconut Whipped topping or ice cream. Enjoy.

FAQs for this peach dump cake recipe
You only need 5 things: nonstick spray, one Wegmans Gluten Free Golden Cake Mix (dry - no eggs, water, or oil added), one 16 oz jar of peach slices in heavy syrup, 8 tablespoons of Earth Balance alternative butter, and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
Freezing the Earth Balance for at least 1 hour makes it firm enough to grate or cube. This helps it spread evenly across the cake mix and melt slowly while baking, creating a golden, crumbly topping instead of a soggy one.
Save the peach syrup when you drain the jar. Drizzle a tablespoon at a time over any dry, powdery spots so they don't stay floury after baking.
Yes! Swap in jarred apples, blueberries, pears, or any pie filling. The technique stays the same - just lay the fruit in one layer at the bottom of the pan.
It's best within 2-3 days, stored in the refrigerator or covered on the counter for a day or two. Freezing after baking is not recommended. Serve warm or at room temperature with dairy-free coconut whipped topping or ice cream.
