For us, making dessert during the week is a luxury. With the kids' activities in the afternoon, it's just not feasible to spend the time on this part of the meal. So I started to experiment on easy desserts. The recipes that take no more than 20 minutes to make. This week's recipe falls into this category. Check it out and see.

Strawberry Nutella Dessert Recipe Ingredients
2 tablespoon sugar
Two cup chopped strawberries (Fresh)
2 cups reduced fat Nilla Wafers crushed
8 tablespoon Nutella
Strawberry Nutella Dessert Recipe Instructions:
Add sugar to the chopped strawberries (½ of the batch) and let sit for 15 minutes. This will bring out the sweetness in the berries. If your berries are ripe, you can eliminate this step.
Get four ramekins and start your assembly.
Start two tablespoons of strawberries to a bottom of the cup.
Then, add a tablespoon or more of wafers to the top of the strawberries.
Add two tablespoons of Nutella to each cup.
Add remaining strawberries to the top of each.
Place in refrigerator or eat right away. It's your choice. If you put it in the fridge, make sure you cover them. It will hold up to 8 hours before it starts to dry out.

Mmm, this opens up a world of possibilities! I'm thinking broken up Oreos with fresh raspberries and a little vanilla pudding - it would probably have to be out of a can though, to make it quick and easy.
