First Organizing Quote:
Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. ~ Albert Einstein
This quote is my philosophy when organizing. The simplicity of systems must be achieved to make it sustainable. - Sabrina Quairoli
Second Organizing Quote:
Organizing is what you do before you do something so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up. ~ A.A Milne
I totally agree. Organizing is what you have to do before you can start the process so it will go smoothly. ~Sabrina Quairoli
Third Organizing Quote:
Organizing is just one big game of Tetris. ~ Alejandra Costello from Alejandra.tv
Since I loved playing Tetris when I was growing up, this quote relates to me. I would add to this, Organizing is like assembling a puzzle. Read my post here about Similarities between Putting a Puzzle Ttogether and Organizing Spaces. ~ Sabrina Quairoli
Fourth Organizing Quote:
A good system shortens the road to the goal. - Orison Swett Marden
Totally true! I am impatient about processes so I make sure that the process is short and simple to complete it as quickly as possible. Otherwise, I will get distracted and lose focus on the goal. ~Sabrina Quairoli
I hope these quotes inspire you to start organizing now! What are the most challenging areas of your home? Please leave a comment below. I may create tip posts to help you out in the coming months.

Quotes are my favorite companions. Starting a day with a motivational quote gives a fresh start to the day.
Thanks for the list. I liked Milne's quote the most
Thank you

I like this quote in particular because it is both true and adorable. "Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up. " A.A Milne In 2008, I began traveling a lot and in order to do that, I sold nearly everything I owned, and adopted a lifestyle of simplicity. Though I am not traveling as much these days, I have maintained my simple lifestyle. I believe a simple, uncluttered lifestyle with as few possessions as possible, is all anyone needs to stay organized. That is what works for me.

I have always kept quotes around.
For some reason I have been attracted to them. A simple sentence can sometimes convey more information than an entire book.
I used to have them scribbled down in a book, but now with a computer I have them categorized by topic and author.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful quotes with us.

My favorite is the Einstein quote. You have to wonder how he was able to find simplicity within the context of his life's work. It's all relative right?
Marquita Herald
These are all great Sabrina, but as someone who is passionate about my 'systems' I especially appreciate - and agree with - Marden's words of wisdom . Thanks for the inspiration!

Great quotes. I like the one about the big game of Tetris. Maybe that approach can make organizing fun for those who dread it.
Beth Niebuhr
I like the A.A.Milne quote the best. So simple and so true. Avoiding being all mixed up is what organization is all about. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Sabrina, I love the A.A.Milne quote. While I work I make a tremendous mess, no matter what I do. At my desk, papers everywhere; in the kitchen, measuring cups, spoons, dishes, ingredients everywhere, etc. But I have to start out organized - my desk must be tidy with all the files neat; my kitchen must be clean and everything laid out properly. If not, I simply can't get at the job. So that quote is right on for me - organize before you start so it's not all mixed up.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I love to organise!
I have structure in every area of my life. Managing my paperwork, my children's homework and extra curricular activities, finances, appointments and events.
The one thing I struggle with is the constant paperwork/homework/letters on our kitchen table. I check and move mine on but my dh allows his to pile up
We hang out a lot on the kitchen diner so probably need some shelves.
Help!

The quote about organizing being just like a game of tetris made me smile. That is the best attitude to have. i did a little organizing this weekend and I feel so much better now that it is done. I'm not the most organized person in the world, but your blog helps inspire me to make it more of a priority.
Sabrina
That's great, Erica! I'm glad my blog is inspiring you to clear the clutter. =)
