What is Candied Ginger?
Candied ginger is a wonderful way to settle your stomach. It is easy to add to your recipe for a bit of zing and brightening in the morning. It has sugar to help you eat the ginger more easily.
Reveal
This is what it looks like after it is done. The spicy pineapple kale smoothie is very refreshing for a morning treat. It goes well with a piece of whole-grain toast.
If you want to add protein powder to this recipe, feel free to do so. I like the Isagenix products. It helps me keep up with my protein without eating tons and tons of meat and dairy, which I physically can't do due to my dairy sensitivity.

Interesting combination. I'm a smoothy fan so I should give this one a go. Besides, I like the idea of all that goodness in a glass.
