Spicy Pineapple Kale Smoothie

Spicy Pineapple Kale Smoothie Recipe

This week's smoothie is my hubby's favorite. It's really low in calories and makes two glasses. This recipe is perfect for people who like spice in their food.  It's very refreshing and really wakes you up. Try it and see.

Ingredients:

¼ cup Flat Quaker Oats
1 cup Kale (cleaned and coarsely chopped)
¼ cup Pineapple chunks (Frozen)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon (ground)
3 cubes of Candied Ginger (to taste)
1 cup Soy Milk or Almond Milk

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the above ingredients in a two-serving cup NutriBullet or blender.
  2. Leave on for 30 seconds.
  3. Remove and transfer to two 12 oz glasses.
