How did I make this Large Glass Jar with Mod Podge and Tissue Paper DIY Project?
- Get Supplies
First, I gathered all the supplies together. I then measured the glass jar. It measured 3 ½ inches.
- Then, I cut two napkin papers to 3 ½ inches.
Making sure that the napkin paper design was in the same direction on both of them.
PRO TIP: Use very little Mod Podge so it doesn't seep through the napkin paper or the design. - Working with Mod Podge and Napkins (affiliate).
Now, I added a little Mod Podge with a sponge brush (affiliate) to the glass and started adhering the napkin paper, making sure the flowers faced the right direction. Adding the next designer napkin piece to line up with the adhered piece of napkin.
I made sure to press down and remove any air bubbles as I went.
And let it dry completely. - Add a rope around the lid
Next, I added the orange rope to the end of the stainless steel lid using a little bit of Gorilla Glue (affiliate) (clear), working my way around the lid.

I then added the green ribbon around the center of the glass jar for added color. But this is optional.
