Ready to Get Started?
The key (affiliate) to successful bathroom organization is starting with one small area and building momentum. Above all, when you begin with decluttering your medicine cabinet or tackling that overflowing vanity drawer, every step counts for making a beautiful space.
At the beginning of this process, set up a deadline for each area of the bathroom. Declutter and clean each section, and then reorganize the remaining items, empowering you to be accountable for your space and get things done.
Questions to ask yourself when doing bathroom organization.
From my experience with clients, I created a list of questions below to support you in your bathroom decluttering and reorganization journey. If you have one bathroom or multiple, answer these questions for each bathroom before you begin organizing and decluttering.
- Who will use this bathroom? Kids, adults, couples?
- Does the bathroom need a place for putting on makeup?
- Will I need a chair (affiliate) in the bathroom?
- Where will I place extra supplies?
- Is there mirror cabinet space to organize?
- Does the surface around my tub need to be organized?
- Will the space under the sink be used to store things?
- Is the linen closet going to be my main storage area?
- Will I need to organize the cabinet or shelves (affiliate) above the toilet?
- Do I need to add extra storage to help me organize my small things?
- Will my first aid kit be stored in this area? Where will it be?
